Sugar-Sand Castle, Dunes of Seagrove, Vacation Rental
Deer Lake State Park
Deer Lake State Park is a couple hundred yards up the beach from
the Dunes of Seagrove, just a few minutes walk along the white,
sugar-sand beach. It is also accessible from 30A, less than 5 minutes
by car or less than 10 minutes by bicycle on the great hiker/biker
path that runs along Highway 30A.
The park has woods, a lake, sand dunes and the beach. This is Deer
Lake, looking from the hiker/biker path across the lake toward the
Gulf of Mexico.
A pedestrian bridge in the woods of the park.
The sand dunes east of the lake.

The beach at Deer Lake State Park. It is a nice secluded beach area
just a couple hundred yards walk up the beach from the Dunes of Seagrove.
This video was shot along the beach between our condo and Deer Lake
State Park.
It was a rare occurance to see so many rays swimming and jumping
near shore. Click on the picture to see the 38 second video.
